The Vaccines admit they had individually 'lost their way' before they formed the band

The 'If You Wanna' group may have been together for less than a year, but singer Justin Young admits by the time they formed he had become disillusioned with the London music scene.

Justin ' who used to perform as Jay Jay Pistolet - said: ''ve been on this path for a very long time. When I was solo I knew, deep down, that my songs weren't that good. It got to the point where I was giving up hope that making music was something viable.

'So by the time The Vaccines came together I was pent up and fed up and I think everyone else was too. We had all lost our way.

'Then the band started and there was a passion at rediscovering that energy.'

The group ' which also includes Arni Hjorvar, Freddie Cowan and Pete Robertson ' have become one of the UK's most hotly tipped acts for 2011, but admit they never dreamed of getting further than playing small scale shows when they started.

Justin added: 'None of us expected any of this. When we started, I got excited and thought, 'I can definitely see us playing The Barfly' [a small London venue]. So now, all I can say is that we must be doing something right.'

Justin Timberlake spent a night 'dancing' with Olivia Wilde on Saturday night (02.04.11).

The singer-and-actor and the 'Tron: Legacy' actress ' who are currently shooting new thriller 'Now' together ' were spotted at Los Angeles nightspot Roxbury, and according to onlookers were inseparable for most of the evening.

The two stars have both recently become single, with Justin announcing his split from Jessica Biel, his girlfriend of four years, in March, while Olivia filed for divorce from her husband of eight years Tao Ruspoli in the same month.

A source told UsMagazine.com: 'They were obviously on a date. They were dancing, whispering, he had his hand on her back and shoulders and they were together all night."

Two stars were joined by DJ Samantha Ronson and several other friends in the VIP section of the club, but were allegedly only interested in speaking to each other.

Another source said: 'His arm was around her, they were talking closely, just the two of them. Justin and Olivia were there with a group, but weren't talking to anyone else."

After enjoying a few hours gyrating to the music and drinking vodka, the duo ' who were both were wearing white T-shirts and jeans ' moved to the patio section of the Hollywood hotspot so Justin could listen to hip-hop before leaving together at 3.00am.

The 'Hold it Against Me' hitmaker ' who has just released a new album and is about to embark on a tour ' is back in the spotlight after a two-year break and says she tries to fit her work commitments around Sean Preston, five, and four-year-old Jayden James' lessons.

She explained: "I'm usually pretty busy when I'm not working. I have two children, so I usually get them up in the morning, and I'm usually at the gym, and I help cook dinner sometimes ... a lot of the stuff that I do I do early in the morning when my boys are at school."

Speaking in new MTV documentary 'Britney Spears: I Am The Femme Fatale' - which follows the pop star as she shoots a new music video and returns to the stage - she also admitted to feeling nervous about performing live again.

She said: "I haven't been out (on stage) for a year . I have jitterbugs."

The 29-year-old singer also described the shoot for the video for 'Till the World Ends' "as grimy" and claims she worked so hard she wasn't even allowed a break to go to the toilet.

She explained: "It would cost about $1,000 of studio time.

"It was a little much. It was grimy and sweaty and it felt like there was poop everywhere, but it was just sweat. You work through it."

Kesha wants to go skinny dipping with Britney Spears

The two pop stars are both experiencing chart success with their respective singles 'Blow' and 'Till the World Ends' and Kesha is keen for them to celebrate in a unique way by going swimming without their clothes on, followed by a wild party.

She said: 'We could go skinny dipping.

'We could have a party and it would be a dress-up-like-Kesha-or-Britney party. Either her place or my place, it doesn't matter."

But it seems Kesha's home would be the ideal place to have the party as she recently installed an underwater stereo at her Nashville pad.

She told People magazine: "I have a small, salt-water pool that has laser beams in it and a stereo so you can be under water listening to music. It's really magical."

As well as wanting to strip off to go under water, Kesha recently revealed she uses her naked body to create art.

The 'Tik Tok' singer has taken up painting in order to relax while on tour and she has now taken a new approach by using herself in her work.

The 24-year-old star said: "I have recently taken up painting as a way of killing time on tour.

"I got a big canvas, threw some paints down and then stripped off and rolled around on it.

"It's very liberating. And very, very messy."

Justin Bieber accidentally set his mum's hair on fire over the weekend

he 'Baby' singer was playing at the Berlin O2 World arena in Germany on Saturday (02.04.11) and surprised mum Pattie Mallette by bringing her out a birthday cake as she joined him on stage.

However, as she leaned over to blow out the candles, a few strands of her hair caught on fire, but thankfully Justin was there to put them out.

He then told her: "Mama, I'll always be your baby."

Following the show, Justin and Pattie both took to twitter to write about the incident.

Justin, 17, said: "sick show in Berlin...brought @studiomama on stage 2 sing her happy bday but she lit her hair on fire with the candles. lol. i saved her. (sic)"

While Pattie wrote: "Thank u @justinbieber for the cake (& embarrassing me on stage lol)."

Justin is very close to his mother and recently revealed how she has to approve his girlfriends.

The teen heartthrob - who is dating 18-year-old Disney star Selena Gomez - said: "I wouldn't bring home a girl unless my mom would approve. You don't bring the bad girls home to mom."
